US-based crypto exchange Coinbase has announced the casting of NFTs from the collection of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) that will be used in the upcoming three-episode film The Degen Trilogy.
The owners of selected collectible assets will receive a $10,000 royalty in Bitcoin or ApeCoin tokens.
The first episode of the series will reportedly be presented at the NFT.NYC conference, which will take place on June 20-23.
According to the BAYC team, the tokens of the Mutant Ape Yacht Club collection will also be able to take part in the casting for the second part of the film.
According to the description, the film will take place in downtown Manhattan, when “digital goods and services for the first time surpassed all other indicators as a measure of value.”
