The difficulty of mining BTC has increased by 5.56% and reached a record high of 29.79 T as a result of the latest recalculation.

This increase is the second largest since the start of the year. On January 21, it immediately increased by 9.32%.

The average network hashrate, with which the complexity correlates, has reached 213 EH/s between recalculations. According to Glassnode, on April 27, the 7-day moving average exceeded 223 EH/s.

After the collapse experienced last summer as a result of the ban on crypto mining in China, the hashrate is showing a steady upward trend. Since the beginning of August, there have been only four negative corrections in difficulty.
