A complete list of investors who took part in the investment for the official acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk has been presented to the public for the first time.
According to it, the fourth largest contributor was cryptocurrency exchange Binance, which allocated $500 million to fund Twitter’s takeover by Musk.
The relevant details of the deal were revealed directly by Tesla founder Elon Musk. He has filed the document with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, which states that he received $ 7.2 billion from 18 co-investors who decided to contribute to the development of the Twitter community.
Despite Musk’s obligations to new partners, the main stake still belongs to the billionaire, since the total amount of the transaction was $44 billion.
The document also states that in addition to Binance, two more large companies whose activities are related to the crypto industry, Sequoia Capital Fund and Fidelity Management and Research Company, became co-investors of the founder of Tesla.
