A Twitter user under the pseudonym otteroooo has posted a thread accusing the co-founders of crypto lending platform Nexo of stealing funds from a charitable foundation.
Now, the company has threatened him with legal proceedings against him.
otteroooo has pointed out in a series of tweets that Nexo was founded by Kosta Kantchev, Antoni Trenchev and Georgi Shulev. The author has noted their connection with the Bulgarian microfinance organization Credissimo.
The user has referred to an investigation conducted by Bulgarian journalists. In 2020 they revealed the misappropriation of donations from the children’s charity fund Help Karma. Prior to that, according to reporters, Kosta Kanchev’s father took a seat on the board of the organization. The author of the thread has drawn a parallel with the appointment and the first ICO of Nexo.
Otteroooo has provided a link to another investigative report that allegedly uncovered a link between Help Karma and Credissimo.
