US-based customers of crypto exchange Coinbase Prime now have Ethereum staking, the company has announced.
According to the blog post:
“Customers can create a wallet, decide on an amount, and start staking from the ETH Assets page of their Coinbase Prime account.”
The funds will allegedly be placed in the cold storage of the institutional platform.
Coinbase Prime also offers users the possibility to stake Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos, Tezos, Celo and other crypto assets.
Ethereum developers tentatively approved in July the migration of the blockchain to Proof-of-Stake on September 19, 2022.
