Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Jumps By 9%

The difficulty of mining BTC has increased by 9.26%, to 30.97 T as a result of the latest recalculation.

During the two-week period between the latest metric adjustments, the average network hashrate was 221 EH/s.

According to Glassnode experts, network computing power reached 222.3 EH/s as of August 30. It should be taken into account that the figure is gradually returning to levels near the peak value of June 11 (231 EH/s).

Foundry USA is still the leader among mining pools in terms of the share of Bitcoin hashrate with a total 23.25%, whereas the second place is for F2Pool with 16.42% and the third position is for AntPool with 13.43%.

The daily income of miners has been hovering around $20 million since mid-June.
