The Sandbox team has teamed up with Renault Korea Motors to offer its users new ways to use cars in the metaverse.
According to the company, as part of the collaboration, The Sandbox will also support the automaker’s marketing programs aimed at “new generations that are well-versed in the digital environment.”
Cindy Lee, CEO of The Sandbox Korea, has said:
“This partnership is a great example that The Sandbox collaborations can evolve across industry boundaries. We can offer new types of services that connect cars and digital assets in a virtual world.”
Since the beginning of 2022, Italian fashion house Gucci, British banking giant HSBC and the Hong Kong division of Standard Chartered have purchased virtual land plots in the project’s metaverse.
