True Names, the operator of the distributed domain name system Ethereum Name Service (ENS), has sued GoDaddy, Dynadot and DeFi company Manifold Finance.
The plaintiffs have accused GoDaddy of violating an agreement to “respect, recognize and protect” the eth.link domain.
According to the document, True Names has demanded $75,000 in damages.
Domain name registrar GoDaddy announced on August 25 the eth.link address will expire on September 5. The company transferred the domain to the Dynadot registry, which sold it through an auction.
