Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has signed a cooperation agreement with the authorities of Kazakhstan.
From now on, a financial monitoring agency that detects suspicious transactions will be able to analyze the movement of funds in digital currencies and fight against their illegal use.
As part of the agreement, law enforcement officers will receive knowledge from Binance specialists that can be used in the fight against criminal communities using virtual currencies.
The exchange has been cooperating with the authorities of Kazakhstan for several months. In May, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao visited Kazakhstan and announced his team was ready to obtain a license that gives them the right to work legally in the republic.
