US-based cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has appointed former UK head of Gemini Blair Halliday as managing director in the UK.
Holliday will expand the stock exchange’s presence in the region, a market which is one of the leading ones for the platform in terms of trading volume.
Halliday has experience in banking and compliance. He has previously held positions at Circle, Intercontinental Exchange, JPMorgan and NatWest.
Curtis Ting, the former head of the British division of Kraken, has expanded his powers and has become the curator of several regions.
