Eli Ben-Sasson, president of the StarkWare project, has spoken about the postponement of the launch of the StarkNet Network Management Token from September to October.

The corresponding initiative of the company became known in July, when StarkWare announced an airdrop of coins among community members in 2023.

In October, Ben-Sasson clarified users would not receive free tokens. All of them will be blocked immediately after launch for teams “that go on a long journey”.

The top manager added:

“The main thing we want to achieve with the token is that the developers who do the most work and ensure the stability of the network are rewarded.”

The emission of ERC-20 tokens will amount to 10 billion. The asset will contribute to the decentralization of the network.
