Do Kwon, the head of Terraform Labs (TFL), sent $7 million to the prominent South Korean law firm Kim & Chang months before the collapse of the Terra ecosystem, as reported by KBS News and detailed by the prosecutor’s office.
This could be evidence of Kwon’s knowledge of the upcoming crisis and his possible guilt. To investigate this, authorities are now tracing the origin of the funds sent to Kim & Chang; if they find that the company was illegally cashing out customer assets, then Kwon may face embezzlement charges.
On March 23, Kwon was arrested at Podgorica airport in Montenegro while trying to fly to Dubai with forged documents.
The arrest took place at the request of law enforcement agencies in the US, Singapore, and South Korea.
