Highlight, an artificial intelligence based generative artistic NFT platform, was launched on the Ethereum network on July 26.

Art creators have the advantage of receiving 100% commission from token transactions, as Highlight does not charge any commissions for authors, and the buyers bear the transaction fees.

Furthermore, tokens are fully owned by the artists and can be used freely. In collaboration with several generative artists, such as Melissa Wiederrecht, James Merrill, Holger Lippmann, and Leander Herzog, Highlight’s purpose is to make the platform the most inclusive one in the crypto art space.

Several features will be added in the coming year, including credit card payment, email login, and physical print orders, all of which are geared towards expanding the crypto art community.

In May last year, the company was successfully able to raise $11 million in a funding round led by Haun Ventures.

Other participants included 1kx, Polygon Studios, Coinbase Ventures, SciFi VC, and Thirty Five Ventures.

In June, Sotheby’s also announced a Gen Art Program auction for works of generative artists, which uses blockchain technologies.
