Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Rises to an All-time High

After an increase of 6.17%, the mining difficulty of BTC broke its historical highest record of 55.6 T.

Data from Glassnode shows that during the period of the previous change, the average hashrate was at 399.36 EH/s, and a 9.5 minute interval between blocks.

This was further confirmed by the Hashrate Index which saw that the price of hash decreased by 5%, from $63 per PH per day to $60. On August 17th, the 7-day moving average was at 414 EH/s, as reported by Glassnode.
