Brad Garlinghouse: Crypto Startups Face Challenges in US Market

Reading time: < 1 minute

Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, has once again called at the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore, for blockchain startups to leave the United States, citing the restrictive policies of the SEC.

He has noted that companies developing decentralized services and solutions must vacate American jurisdiction or else face a constant threat of losing their functionality.

Singapore, the UK and the United Arab Emirates are among the more suitable regions for these companies to reestablish operations.

He has also mentioned that due to the lawsuits that the SEC launched against Ripple, Coinbase, Binance and other companies, the country may soon lose its status as a technological power if this trend continues.
