According to reporter Colin Wu, Chinese mining company Bitmain has fired three employees for violating company policy by disclosing internal salary information without authorization.
This information was reported by Wu based on a publication by BlockBeats.
Although the journalist originally reported that four employees had been fired, the company’s official statement only mentioned three individuals.
The announcement also stated that Bitmain reserves the right to pursue legal action against all parties involved in the unauthorized disclosure.
On October 8, it was reported that the company had faced financial difficulties and was unable to fully pay salaries for September.
This was attributed to negative cash flow during that month. However, Bitmain clarified that by the time the news was released, most employees had been paid in full and only a few had not yet received their salary.
