An unknown hacking group has reportedly declared that they have obtained 70,000 customer selfies and sensitive personal data belonging to 300,000 customers of Coin Cloud, a Bitcoin ATM company with operations in the United States and Brazil.
According to cybersecurity expert vx-underground, the hacking group also claims to have stolen Coin Cloud’s backend system source code.
The post on X by vx-underground features images that are redacted and allegedly show customer selfies and personal information, such as names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, occupations, and phone numbers.
According to the report, the hacker has shared these claims in private channels and may soon post the leaked database online.
