The Fantom network has experienced a surge in daily transaction volume, setting new records as the popularity of Ordinals analogue and FRC-20 tokens grows.
The volume surpassed 3 million on November 23, almost double the previous high in September 2021.
This increase in on-chain activity was also accompanied by a spike in gas prices, with some reaching over 10,000 Gwei.
Despite this, average daily transaction fees have remained relatively constant.
However, due to the lack of developed infrastructure, it is difficult to accurately gauge the number of users and the amount of trading within the FRC-20 token market.
This situation is similar to what was seen on the C-Chain network from Avalanche, when its transaction volume abruptly rose above 6.3 million on November 22.
