The press office of Binance has announced that transactions in Russian rubles will no longer be allowed starting January 31, 2024.
P2P transactions will also be prohibited in the coming month, effectively ending support for the Russian national currency on the trading platform.
All Binance users must transfer their funds to the CommEX platform by the end of January. This alternative platform was launched for Russian traders after Binance announced its gradual withdrawal from the country in order to comply with international sanctions legislation.
According to the press office, Binance will completely stop supporting the Russian ruble after selling its business to CommEX and leaving the country.
