A survey conducted by Binance has found that many investors view digital currencies as a way to safeguard their capital during times of financial and geopolitical uncertainty.
This sentiment has been further supported by the recent increase in traders exploring virtual assets as an additional source of income.
In fact, the survey revealed that 50% of the 1,172 participants are interested in investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies specifically to increase their profits.
The study, which was carried out between November 15 and December 6 in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, also showed that a majority of respondents (76%) believe that digital currencies have the potential to modernize the global financial system.
Additionally, 9% of participants see virtual currency as a means of protecting their capital from inflation, while 19% have already invested in Bitcoin and other coins for this purpose.
