The fourth version of the non-custodial exchange Uniswap is scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of 2024, with the Uniswap Foundation aiming for it to be the most thoroughly audited code deployed on Ethereum.
The development roadmap includes three key milestones, with the current stage focused on finalizing the main code, testing, gas optimization, and security improvements.
After this, the code will undergo an audit by multiple companies, followed by a test network and final code revision.
The main network launch is planned for the third quarter, after the DAO hard fork in March introduces EIP-1153.
