VanEck has launched SegMint, a new platform for trading digital assets and NFTs, and also offers a non-custodial wallet.

SegMint is currently only available to customers in Europe and Asia, with no access for US residents. The platform is designed for users who are familiar with blockchain technology and are interested in owning or accessing NFTs.

The platform also offers a multi-signature wallet and the ability to mint non-fungible tokens. Security was a top priority for the development of SegMint.

The platform utilizes Lock & Key technology to ensure the safety of users’ assets. VanEck, founded in 1955, was one of the first companies to apply for a spot Bitcoin ETF in 2021.

In January 2024, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the instrument. In February, VanEck submitted a revised application to the SEC for a spot Ethereum ETF.
