Justin Sun: SEC Will Not Legalize Ether ETFs Soon

Reading time: < 1 minute

According to Bloomberg strategists, it is unlikely that the SEC will approve spot crypto ETFs investing in ether in the near future.

Analyst James Seyffart believes that the applications for such products on the stock market will most likely be rejected by the American regulator in May.

Similarly, Justin Sun, the founder of the Tron ecosystem, does not expect the appearance of spot Ethereum ETFs in the United States anytime soon.

The reason for this delay is the SEC’s need for more time to carefully assess the potential risks associated with introducing a new financial tool.

Just like with Bitcoin, which took several years to gain approval for spot ETFs in the US, the road to approval for ether ETFs is likely to be a long one.
