Revolut has recently revealed their new platform called Revolut X, specifically designed for advanced traders. It offers simplified deposits and withdrawals and low fees for both makers (0%) and takers (0.09%), regardless of their trading volume.
The platform currently supports over 100 tokens, including popular ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP, with plans for further expansion.
Only users in the UK with an existing retail account can access the platform using their existing credentials. They can easily exchange fiat for cryptocurrencies and vice versa between Revolut X and Revolut without any fees or restrictions.
This new platform is aimed to compete with top players in the industry, says the company’s head of cryptocurrency products, Leonid Bashlykov.
The platform has been undergoing testing since February 2024, and Revolut has suspended its cryptocurrency services in the US starting September 2, 2023, due to concerns about the uncertain regulatory environment in the country.
