Bitwise has submitted an amended S-1 form for its Ethereum ETF just days before its July 8 deadline, indicating that the product is almost ready for launch. Analysts predict that these ETFs could start being listed in the next two weeks.
The updated registration form was filed on Wednesday, and analysts believe that the ETFs could be listed by mid-July.
According to a source familiar with the situation, the SEC is expected to approve the final drafts by the end of next week.
On May 23, the SEC approved 19b-4 forms for eight spot Ethereum ETFs, including Bitwise. However, the S-1 statements must be effective before trading can commence, leading to eager anticipation for the launch.
While comments on the S-1 forms have been scarce, the SEC has taken its time to approve the forms, possibly due to a single problematic issuer.
