HIVE Digital Technologies has unveiled plans to construct a new 100-megawatt (MW) crypto mining facility in Paraguay, with projected growth of up to 6.5 Exahash per second (EH/s) in their Bitcoin mining operations.
Executive chairman Frank Holmes stated that this development represents a major milestone in their strategy for diversified growth and expands their global presence, which already includes data center operations in Canada, Sweden, and Iceland.
In addition, HIVE’s bitcoin holdings have increased to 2,521 BTC as of July 21, worth over $171 million at current market value.
