The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK) has partnered with crypto infrastructure provider Bitpanda Technology Solutions to develop a digital asset management platform for UAE residents.
RAKBANK views digital assets as the future of finance and aims to offer customers a more efficient and secure way to manage their money.
While the partnership is underway, the platform still requires approval from the UAE’s central bank.
RAKBANK believes there’s a market gap for a regulated banking platform focused on digital assets and aims to provide customers with expanded digital asset opportunities.
By partnering with Bitpanda, RAKBANK avoids building its own digital asset infrastructure from scratch.
