Inflows into BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF Hit $1B

Data from Morningstar shows that BlackRock’s Ether ETF has received around $1 billion in net inflows. This highlights its dominance over other competing ETFs.

The Ethereum Trust (ETHA), offered by iShares, has attracted $992 million in net inflows and is expected to soon surpass the $1 billion mark.

According to Morningstar’s director of passive strategies research, Bryan Armour, there is a high likelihood that the ETHA will hit the $1 billion milestone by the end of trading on August 21, with a single creation unit being the determining factor.

However, the Ether ETF’s net assets currently sit slightly below $1 billion, at $837,898,429, due to ETH’s underperformance since ETH ETFs began trading in July.

As Armour explains, the fund’s net assets are impacted by both net flows and performance, with underperformance causing the net assets to remain lower than the total net inflows into the fund.
