The team working on the popular cryptocurrency Shiba Inu, ranked 13th by market cap, is getting ready to launch a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
As announced on August 25 by Lucie, the pseudonymous marketing lead for Shiba Inu (SHIB), the team will introduce a DAO that will allow SHIB holders to participate in decision-making processes and have a say in the project’s future direction.
This new development will establish Shiba Inu as a major player in decentralized governance. Every SHIB holder, regardless of the size of their stake, will have the opportunity to contribute to the community’s growth and trajectory.
The DAO will be composed of two main councils, the “Charity Council” and the “Culture & Heritage Council,” which will oversee the governance of the Shiba Inu project.
These councils will be responsible for managing community initiatives, including charity work and preserving the unique culture of the memecoin community.
