Binance has introduced a new pre-market spot trading service that allows users to enter into positions before a token is officially listed on the exchange.
According to Binance, this service is unique as it provides exclusive access to tokens for trading in the pre-market, unlike other exchanges that only offer pre-market trading for derivatives.
This feature sets Binance apart from its competitors, including Bybit, which also offers pre-market spot trading but in the form of collateralized assets and USDT transactions, and Coinbase International’s “pre-launch markets” service, which involves the trading of perpetual futures contracts for tokens that have yet to launch.
Binance’s spokesperson stated that they are the first exchange to offer pre-market trading with actual tokens, making it a valuable addition to their platform.
