NYSE Arca has applied for approval from United States regulators to list a Grayscale exchange-traded fund (ETF) that will hold a diverse mix of spot cryptocurrencies.
This request was submitted in a filing on October 29. The ETF, called the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund, was established in 2018 but has not yet been available for trading.
It includes a portfolio of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana. As of now, the fund manages about $565 million in assets, according to the website of Grayscale.
The company had submitted a proposal to convert the fund into an ETF on October 16, just a few days before NYSE Arca’s filing.
