ZA Bank, the largest digital bank in Hong Kong, has announced that it will be the first Asian bank to offer crypto buying and selling services to retail users.

According to the bank, users will have the ability to trade BTC and ETH using either U.S. dollars or Hong Kong dollars through its mobile app.

In order to qualify for trading crypto, Hong Kong residents will need to open an investment account with Zhongan Bank and undergo a risk assessment, as stated in the bank’s announcement.

The bank’s interim CEO, Wu Zhonghao, believes that this new service will increase the bank’s revenue through transaction fees. ZA Bank has partnered with HashKey exchange to provide these crypto trading services, which will go into effect on November 25th.
