BitFuFu Inc., a publicly traded Bitcoin mining company listed on Nasdaq, has announced a partnership with BITMAIN, a leading manufacturer of digital asset mining hardware.
According to the agreement, BitFuFu will acquire up to 80,000 S-series miners, including BITMAIN’s popular models, the S21 XP and S21 Pro.
This two-year framework agreement will allow BitFuFu to place orders in batches, providing flexibility in acquiring the latest mining equipment.
The company will also have the option to use its shares to pay a portion of the purchase price and defer some cash payments without interest after the miners are delivered.
CEO Leo Lu expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it will ensure a steady supply of the latest miners to rapidly expand BitFuFu’s mining infrastructure globally.
The company aims to add 1 GW in capacity by the end of 2026. Last month, BitFuFu launched its private-label Bitcoin mining pool called BitFuFu Pool. This move signifies the company’s continued growth and commitment to the global mining community.
