Coinbase has expanded its offerings for institutional investors by introducing new CFTC-regulated futures for Solana and Hedera.

This move comes in response to growing interest in futures from US investors.

Coinbase announced that these new futures products will be available through its subsidiary, Coinbase Derivatives, LLC (CDE), which operates as a US CFTC-registered Designated Contract Market (DCM).

The exchange has self-certified with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to list futures contracts for Solana and Hedera.

The introduction of these new futures products increases the total number of CDE futures contracts to 19, which already includes offerings for Bitcoin, Ether, Dogecoin, Stellar, and Gold.
