Surojit Chatterjee, product director of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, announced his resignation yesterday after almost 3 years at the company.
He has noted on his Linkedin page that “it’s time to take a breath.” He has also talked about a difficult family situation:
“After the incredible success that began in February 2020, I have decided to leave my current position as Coinbase’s chief product officer.”
He has added that he will continue to work with the exchange as an advisor to the company CEO Brian Armstrong.
According to documents for the SEC dated October 28, Coinbase’s product, engineering and design teams “are being reorganized within the product group structure” due to the top manager’s resignation.
