The venture division of crypto exchange FTX has portfolio assets that are of investment interest, according to the founder of the Tron Foundation, Justin Sun. He has said:
“FTX Ventures has many more portfolio companies and we are reviewing them one by one, but now the structure is already in the [bankruptcy] stage, so it may take longer to complete the process.”
He has not specifed which of his affiliates is considering buying the group’s assets. He joined the advisory board of Huobi in the month of October.
FTX Ventures has been quite actively investing in cryptocurrency market participants. For example, in the fall of 2022, the division entered the capital of Anthony Scaramucci’s SkyBridge Capital.
