US bank BNY Mellon launched a platform for storing Bitcoin and Ether in October 2022 amid the growing interest of institutional investors in digital currencies and the blockchain industry.

Now, Michael Demissie, the CEO of the bank, has said that the fall in the cryptocurrency market did not greatly affect the mood of investment companies and funds. They continue to enter the crypto sphere as they realize its gigantic prospects.

He has further explained:

“We see how our clients are interested in a wide variety of digital assets.”

According to him, the legalization of the cryptocurrency market in the United States will create conditions for more active entry of institutional investors into innovative tools.
