YouTube Influencers Face Lawsuit Over FTX Promotion

A class-action lawsuit has been launched against several YouTubers for “actively promoting” crypto exchange FTX, which has since collapsed.

Erika Kullberg, Ben Armstrong (aka BitBoy), and Meet Kevin channel owner Kevin Paffrath are all named as defendants in the document, which states that FTX “generously” paid influencers to promote the exchange without disclosing their relationship.

Paffrath himself has acknowledged the situation in a video, saying:

“Yes, I used to be sponsored by FTX. I think that is a disgrace. And it’s a scar. And it sucks.”

Claimants from different countries are being represented by Adam Moskowitz of the Moskowitz law firm in the proceedings.
