Decentralized exchange liquidity aggregator 1inch Network has recently added support for zkSync, the Ethereum network’s Layer 2 solution.

The protocol is EVM-compliant and utilizes a zero-knowledge proof, and was launched on the mainnet by the Matter Lab team on March 24.

The Aggregation Protocol and Limit Order Protocol are based on this Layer 2 solution, with the 1inch Network team promising users more liquidity, faster transaction speeds, and lower fees in the long run.

According to DeFi Llama, the total value locked in the zkSync Era ecosystem hit $107.5 million in less than a month, with most of the liquidity concentrated in DEXs such as SyncSwap, Velocore, and iziSwap.

Over 200 projects have expressed interest in integrating the protocol, including Chainlink, SushiSwap, Uniswap, Aave, Argent, Gnosis, and Curve.
