Binance has announced the appointment of Kirill Khomyakov as the head of the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Central Asia regions.
In his role, Khomyakov will focus on enhancing the company’s products and services, spearheading educational initiatives, developing fiat channels, and improving user experience in key markets across 14 countries in the region.
He will also oversee marketing strategy and establish relationships with local governments and public organizations.
Khomyakov joined Binance in January 2022, initially managing the Ukrainian market and later expanding his responsibilities to the CEE region.
He has 15 years of experience working in various banking, financial, and government organizations, including as CEO of the State Agency for Infrastructure Projects of Ukraine and a blockchain-based software development company.
It should be noted that in September, several executives, including the director for Eastern Europe and the director for the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), announced their departure from Binance.
