According to its report, Tesla did not sell any Bitcoin during the third and fourth quarters of 2023.
The report reveals that as of early January, the electric vehicle maker held approximately $387 million in BTC and currently controls a total of 9720 BTC, ranking third among publicly-traded companies in terms of cryptocurrency holdings.
The top two spots on the list are held by software developer MicroStrategy and miner Marathon Digital. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had confirmed in February of 2021 that the company had invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin and would also begin accepting it as a form of payment for their vehicles.
However, in the second quarter of 2022, Tesla sold approximately $900 million worth of BTC, but their current cryptocurrency reserves have remained the same.
