European Users Are Positive About Future of Cryptos: Survey

According to a survey conducted by Binance in France, Italy, Spain, and Sweden, approximately 73% of residents in these countries hold a positive outlook on the long-term potential of digital currencies.

The survey, which took place in October and November 2023, had 10,498 participants.

The results revealed that there is a growing number of European investors who are actively observing and investing in the digital asset market.

Out of the surveyed individuals, 73% expressed optimism towards cryptocurrencies, and 55% reported having already used Bitcoin and other virtual currencies.

Furthermore, the survey participants believe that blockchain technology will contribute significantly to modernizing the global payment infrastructure. 34% of respondents stated that they use cryptocurrencies as a long-term investment, while 26% use it as a hedge against inflation risks.

10% of individuals admitted to conducting weekly transactions with virtual currencies.

Binance also conducted a similar survey in Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region, where approximately 50% of respondents viewed Bitcoin and other digital assets as a means of generating additional income.
