During their first trading day on Tuesday, the six newly launched Bitcoin and Ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in Hong Kong collectively recorded a trading volume of approximately HK$49.4 million ($6.3 million), according to data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Among the six ETFs, the “ChinaAMC Bitcoin ETF” managed by China Asset Management had the highest trading volume of HK$22.97 million during the morning trading session. The “ChinaAMC Ether ETF” followed with a trading volume of HK$10.47 million.
Other ETFs managed by Harvest Global, Bosera, and HashKey also had decent trading volumes, with HK$8.11 million for Harvest’s spot Bitcoin ETF and HK$2.18 million for its Ether ETF.
Bosera HashKey Bitcoin ETF recorded HK$3.59 million in volume while its Ether ETF had HK$1.53 million during the morning session.
The six ETFs officially debuted in Hong Kong today, managed by China Asset Management, Harvest Global, Bosera, and HashKey.
