Ben Zhou, the CEO of Bybit, announced on Tuesday that Bybit debit cards can now be added to Apple Pay. The option to use Apple Pay as a checkout method on the Bybit app or website was initially revealed on June 17.
In April, Bybit launched the Bybit Card, a physical debit card issued by Mastercard which allows users to make payments and withdraw cash using one fiat currency and eight cryptocurrencies.
This integration comes as part of Apple’s plans to expand their financing and rewards services on their mobile wallet app in the fall, as reported by the Associated Press earlier in June.
However, Bybit is not the only exchange to partner with Apple Pay in 2024. Earlier this year, Apple also added support for Crypto.com’s Visa cards on the EU version of their app.
