Creditors from the failed crypto exchange Mt. Gox are now receiving Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash transfers on another crypto exchange, Kraken.
This news was shared by a Telegram group for Mt. Gox creditors and has been confirmed by a reliable source. Kraken recently received 48,641 BTC, worth over $3 billion, from the Mt. Gox Rehabilitation Trustee on July 16th and is now distributing it to creditors.
Kraken expected creditors to access their funds within the next one to two weeks.
According to crypto tracking firm Arkham, Mt. Gox had already transferred 42587.49 BTC, valued at approximately $2.8 billion, to new addresses earlier.
