Bankrupt crypto exchange Mt. Gox has recently transferred approximately $172.5 million worth of Bitcoin to an unknown wallet shortly after the cryptocurrency reached a new record high of nearly $108,000.

According to data from Arkham Intelligence, the exchange sent 1,619.6 Bitcoin ($106,718) to two untagged addresses on December 17, with 1427.9 BTC going to one address and 191.7 BTC to another. Some of the 1427.9 BTC eventually ended up in a wallet starting with “1DeY” after passing through another wallet with about 108 BTC.

The remaining 108 BTC and the 191.7 BTC were transferred through various wallets until they reached a wallet starting with “1KLr,” which currently holds 300 BTC.

The reason behind Mt. Gox’s transfer is unknown. In 2014, the exchange declared bankruptcy, and previous movement of its Bitcoin holdings have led to creditor payouts.
